Our Mission

Founded in 2017, the Carson Higgins Memorial Foundation enhances the quality of life for children facing cancer and other life challenges by funding programs that provide therapeutic, medical and educational opportunities.

The time you have together means the most. Let every family battling cancer have that time.

Physical therapy can be one of the most important keys to recovery for children. Augment therapy is a way of making the process fun and consistent.

Carson’s Journey

A God Story of Faith, Hope and Love

Several months prior to Carson’s cancer diagnosis at age 3, Carson started to see angels, and throughout Carson’s first battle with cancer, Carson would constantly tell family and the staff at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital about his angel. Throughout Carson’s Journey, Carson and the entire Higgins family were blessed with many “Godcidences” and miracles, the most important was Carson’s 8 more years of survival, after initially being told he would likely not live 30 days. We quickly realized that Carson’s story was God’s story, one full of Faith, Hope and Love.

Our family was blessed with many amazing acts of kindness, love and generosity. Carson was the leader, always wanting to “pay it forward” …whether giving his presents to other children, or wanting to buy a family dinner, he always thought of others first. It is in this spirit of giving back, that the Carson Higgins Memorial Foundation was created in memory of Carson and his journey.

While Carson’s life was short, it was rich with faith, hope, love, strength and kindness. He was an inspiration to many. His presence will be missed, but Carson’s generous spirit lives on to help other children through the Carson Higgins Memorial Foundation.
