After taking two years off because of Covid-19, it was wonderful to have the support of over 200 people who came to Todaro’s for the Foundation’s annual dinner, raising more than $50,000 for programs and services that enhance the lives of children facing cancer and other life challenges. The evening started with a One Hope Wine tasting and delicious appetizers. If you enjoyed the wine and would like to have some at home, you can order it at this link: https://www.onehopewine.com/event/130353. A portion of sales benefit CHMF. Josh, from The DJ Crew, was amazing and had the guests dancing the night away! The Photo Booth was a huge hit; check out the video below with some of the fun pictures and signs – Suspicious and Go Big or Go Home – which were some quotes Carson often said. The silent auction provided a wide range of items and experiences for winning bidders. Lindsay Watson spoke about Augment Therapy, noting that this immersive physical therapy technology for kids would never have moved forward without the grant from CHMF. She also demonstrated the program; people enjoyed checking out the gaming system while getting some physical activity – and lots of chuckles. John closed the presentation by speaking from his heart, telling Carson’s story and the amazing things the foundation has accomplished so far. We are so thankful for our sponsors who stepped up in a big way to support the dinner and Foundation. Our thanks, also, to the volunteers that helped. We couldn’t do it without all of you. Together, we are #CARSONSTRONG.
