Our Night of Hope Gala was an evening that brought together so many of the elements that define the CarsonStrong Foundation: connection, generosity, reflection, and joy. Surrounded by a community of supporters who continue to show up in meaningful ways, the night served as a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together with a shared purpose

This year’s event was made even more special with the leadership and support of our Honorary Chair, Debbie Williams. With decades of experience in nonprofit fundraising and a deep understanding of what it takes to build meaningful impact, Debbie brought both insight and heart to the evening. Her involvement helped elevate the experience and further connect our mission to the community we serve.

We were also fortunate to have Todd Meany return as our Master of Ceremonies. Todd has a unique ability to bring warmth, energy, and authenticity to the stage, creating a natural flow throughout the evening while keeping the focus where it belongs, on the families and the mission. His continued support and presence have become a meaningful part of this event each year.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Carson Higgins Legacy Award to Kristi Capel. As a longtime advocate and founding supporter of the Foundation, Kristi has played an integral role in helping share Carson’s story and expand the reach of our mission. Her unwavering support and genuine belief in the families we serve have left a lasting mark, and it was a privilege to recognize her contributions in front of a room filled with those who have also been impacted by her dedication.

Throughout the evening, guests experienced moments that reflected both the heart and the impact of our work. A moving, original song written and performed by Chip & Billy Davis created space for reflection, allowing the room to pause and take in the deeper meaning behind the night. That sense of purpose continued through a powerful video highlighting the Gift of Time Together program, offering a glimpse into the lives of the families we serve and the meaningful experiences made possible through the support of this community.

The energy in the room shifted as the live auction began, with guests enthusiastically participating and rallying behind the mission in a tangible way. It was a reflection of the generosity and commitment that continues to fuel the Foundation’s work, not just during events like this, but throughout the year.

As the formal program concluded, the evening transitioned into celebration. Twin B Project brought an incredible energy to the room, filling the dance floor and creating an atmosphere of joy and connection. Laughter carried throughout the space, conversations continued, and the sense of community that defines CarsonStrong was fully on display.

Because of the generosity of our sponsors, donors, attendees, and volunteers, the evening raised over $130,000 in direct support of the Gift of Time Together program. These funds will allow us to continue creating meaningful experiences for families affected by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, offering them the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day challenges of treatment and simply spend time together.

More than anything, the Night of Hope Gala reinforced that this work is not done alone. It is made possible by a community that believes deeply in showing up for others, in creating moments that matter, and in making a lasting impact in the lives of families who need it most.
