Our second annual Designer Purse Bingo event was a huge success, applauded by everyone in attendance! The guests had an amazing time walking down the red carpet, posing for the paparazzi, and winning beautiful designer purses. The day began with a touching presentation about the Gift of Time Together initiative, which offers families affected by cancer a chance to have a memorable respite away from the stresses of treatments, appointments, and other challenges related to the disease.

After learning more about the Gift of Time Together and how the CarsonStrong Foundation is making an impact across the country, it was time to get the games started! Our lovely hosts, Kristi Capel from Fox 8 and Michael Allio from Bachelor Nation made sure the energy was high all afternoon! There were 10 rounds of bingo, and each round had a beautiful designer purse as the prize. Starting with Coach, winners also won bags from Tory Burch, Dooney & Burke, Hammitt, Fount, Kate Spade, Armani, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. In between the bingo rounds, a raffle for both new and gently used purses was presented and 50 lucky winners got to take home extra prizes! Once the 10 rounds were completed, guests were presented with the opportunity to play in 3 bonus rounds for a gorgeous red Lous Vuitton handbag, a best-selling Fount tote bag, and a classic Burberry clutch.

As guests entered the event, our hosts identified a few with eye-catching heels to enter the contest. At intermission, we brought up those women to show off their top-notch heels. First, second, and third-place winners were chosen based on the crowd’s applause. The first-place winner had mini disco balls and a CarsonStrong branded bingo card on her heels.

We are excited to share that we were able to raise $40,000 for our cause of improving the lives of children and families affected by cancer and other significant life challenges. This was made possible through 10 rounds of bingo games, 3 bonus rounds, a high heels contest, and various raffles. We are grateful for everyone’s participation and support towards our mission.
