Letting kids who are either facing cancer themselves or have a loved one facing cancer have the opportunity to be with other children who have a similar experience is an important aspect of coping and healing. The CarsonStrong Foundation was proud to sponsor this summer’s Kids Camp at Stewart’s Caring Place where children had the opportunity to make new friends, participate in arts and other activities, enjoy a magic show, learn about animals, and more. The camp runs one full week each month in the summer and is open to children ages four through 12 whose families take part in Stewart’s Caring Place programs and services.
