Carson had many hobbies, but his most treasured pastime was reading. He often read three books a week, and sometimes finished five!
The Higgins family donated Carson’s corneas so others can have the gift of sight, and perhaps be as enthusiastic about reading as Carson was.
Carson Higgins Memorial Foundation is honored to support the new library at Stewart’s Caring Place, an organization providing supportive programs and services to cancer patients and their families at no cost. Through our supporters and our Foundation, we donated more than $5,000 worth of books to the library, which Stewart’s Caring Place has graciously named Carson’s Corner. Now other cancer patients and their families can journey to another time and place through reading.
