What began as a way to honor Carson’s memory has grown into something truly extraordinary and meaningful for families and communities across the country. The Carson Higgins Memorial Golf Outing was the very first event hosted by the Higgins family in 2017, an effort to channel their pain into purpose and continue Carson’s legacy of kindness, laughter, and love. The overwhelming response that year inspired what is now the CarsonStrong™ Foundation, and this annual outing continues to hold deep meaning as the event that started it all.
A Day of Purpose on the Green
This year’s outing was a day filled with generosity, community spirit, and a shared commitment to making a difference. Hosted at the beautiful Country Club of Hudson, the outing once again brought together friends, family, and supporters who came ready to golf, give back, and celebrate Carson’s legacy. Every swing, every sponsorship, and every donation made during this outing will ripple far beyond the golf course, touching lives in ways that Carson himself would be proud of.
Fueling Our Mission
Thanks to the incredible support of our golfers, sponsors, and volunteers, the outing raised over $185,000 to directly fuel the mission of the CarsonStrong™ Foundation. These funds make it possible for us to continue positively impacting children and families affected by cancer and other significant life challenges. The funds support all of our core initiatives, from creating meaningful family experiences through The Gift of Time Together program to expanding access to Augment Therapy in hospitals.
