Nick Guilda enjoys paying it forward in many ways. He volunteers at the American Red Cross and at his church’s vacation bible school, so much so he’s been called a “super volunteer.” He has also tutored classmates as a member of Mu Alpha Theta.
Challenged with acute hearing loss since pre-school has not prevented Nicholas from moving forward and succeeding. He says, “As I progress through school, I have become more aware and focused on the profound impact I have on others. I wish more people truly thought that way.” Nick was humbled by receiving the Carson Higgins Memorial Scholarship. He said, “If everyone stuck to Carson’s values as he did, the world would be such a better place. Offering scholarships in memory of Carson is such a generous way to honor his legacy. I will never forget this incredible gift.”
